I moved to Vancouver in ‘69 then Mission in 1973 when I married my wife Lynda. We have been together for 43 and a bit years. We have 1 daughter and two sons, all married and 4 beautiful granddaughters.
I retired from ICBC in 2006. I worked there for 30 plus years and had the good fortune to work several interesting IT and road safety projects.
We moved to Abbotsford in 2007 in an area called Eagle Mountain. I stayed active in recreational sports (hockey, touch football) and later Dragon Boat racing. Presently I co-ordinate Dragon Boat racing for the 55 plus senior games in the Fraser Valley. I also coached soccer, touchball and dragonboat as the kids grew up.
My son Ty and I have a medium sized company called Leading Edge Entertainment which specializes in the Home Automation services. The web site is www.leading-edge-ent.com and shows samples of our projects.
Lynda still works as a EA for the Mission School District and my daughter Lori is an elementary teacher in Abbotsford. Rob is works in the IT department at ICBC and is always updating on the latest news.
I miss my MGA. Someday, maybe, I will restore one. But I do have a G-Scale Garden Railroad and an outdoor pond full of gold fish!
