After reading all the other bios on this site of fellow classmates a few months ago I decided my life has been rather boring compared to the ones posted and therefore decided not to post mine. However I have since decided there are probably other classmates that feel the same way and therefore decided to go ahead and post mine and just maybe others would follow suit.
After graduating in June I started working for the Bank of Montreal on Government Street, Victoria branch. Staying with the bank I worked in Vancouver, Williams Lake and then in 1980 transferred to Nanaimo until I retired in 2008 and still reside there.
I took time off in 1979 and 1981 when my two daughters were born. I am very proud of both of them. Heather is the Occupational Therapy Professional Practice Leader for Providence Health Care in Vancouver and has 2 year old twin daughters. Erin is a long term care attendant in Nanaimo and also an elite runner who won the Victoria Marathon last October.
I have been happily married to Don Willet for the last 8 years. I have been an RCMP volunteer for the past 16 years and also enjoy gardening and reading.
